Software Engineer - Open Source Contributions - Remote

micro1 is seeking experienced Software Engineers to contribute to open-source development projects supporting AI training. You'll work on real-world codebases involving feature development, debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization. No prior AI experience is required.

• Develop and implement features in existing open-source projects.
• Fix complex bugs and improve code reliability.
• Refactor legacy code for better performance, scalability, and readability.
• Apply algorithms and efficient problem-solving techniques.
• Review and validate code against project standards.
• Collaborate with remote contributors and document technical solutions.

Output-based: Payment is provided per completed task that meets project requirements. Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.
