Key Responsibilities
- Review and annotate medical records to accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes based on clinical documentation.
- Apply Evaluation & Management (E&M) guidelines to assess coding levels and validate healthcare datasets.
- Ensure compliance with current medical coding standards and guidelines.
- Analyze clinical documentation and identify coding-related ambiguities or inconsistencies.
- Provide expert feedback on coding guidelines, edge cases, and documentation scenarios.
- Collaborate with project teams through written and verbal communication to improve AI training data quality.
