Warehouse Associate (Sorting / Scanning) – Night Shift

We're hiring warehouse associates to support our package sorting and scanning operations for Parsel and Sway.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse role focused on scanning, sorting, and organizing packages for outbound shipments. You'll be working with a high daily volume of packages, so speed, accuracy, and reliability are important.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Night Shift)
Location: Elmwood Park, NJ (must be able to commute reliably)

What You'll Do
- Scan packages using handheld scanners and mobile devices
- Sort packages accurately between Parsel and Sway based on shipping labels and routing requirements
- Place scanned packages into the correct pallets, Gaylords, bins, or designated staging areas
- Identify and separate packages that are incorrectly labeled, damaged, or unable to scan
- Organize and prepare completed sorts for outbound carrier pickup
- Move, wrap, consolidate, and stage pallets and Gaylords as needed
- Maintain speed and accuracy while processing high package volumes
- Keep sorting and staging areas clean, organized, and safe
- Work with the team to complete all daily sorting volume before pickup deadlines
- Assist with other warehouse tasks when needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable and consistently on time — shift starts at 4:00 PM
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sort packages accurately
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and mobile devices
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Able to stand and remain active throughout the shift
- Able to lift and move packages throughout the workday
- Willing to learn, follow instructions, and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working evening/night hours
Nice to Have
- Previous warehouse, package sorting, fulfillment, or logistics experience
- Experience using handheld scanners
- Experience working with parcel carriers or high-volume package operations
What Success Looks Like
- Packages are scanned and sorted quickly and accurately
- Parsel and Sway packages are routed to the correct designated locations
- Mis-sorts and scanning errors are kept to a minimum
- Daily package volume is completed before pickup deadlines
- Sorting and staging areas remain organized and safe
- You are reliable, productive, and work well with the rest of the team
