POSITION SUMMARY: At Camp, we are looking for active, friendly, and confident nurses to work with our campers and staff. We have 200 campers and 25 staff members at Camp Kirkwood for one-week periods. During a normal week, we will have a nurse to provide medical administration and general triage. Camp Kirkwood nurses commit to one-week periods during the summer from Sunday to Friday. This week includes two check-ins and one check-out for campers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performing preparation duties cooking for hot and cold meals
- Maintain the cleanliness of Dining Hall and food service areas
- Wrapping, date-labeling, and storing food items.
- Cleaning and organizing work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station.
- Following guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control.
- Serving customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Complying with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA.
- Minimum of 1 yr. experience preparing food for large groups.
- Desire and ability to work with children.
- Track record of being reliable and dedicated to service.
