What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership Services position at YMCA?
The Ormond Beach Family YMCA is looking for outgoing, friendly individuals for our front desk. Applicants must have positive relationship building skills, provide excellent customer service and be positive role models and communicators.
Job Specific Functions:
- Greet members with exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone. Answer questions and provide accurate membership and program information.
- Provide and track tours of the facilities and programs. Promote, sell and accept membership and registration documents.
- Collect, document and reconcile money collected during shift.
- Respond to customer complaints and work toward a mutually satisfying solution.
- Help ensure that the Member Services area and lobby are presentable and safe at all times.
- Model and encourage the development and practice of the Y character values (Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility)
- Other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites:
Certifications: CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire.
Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred.
Drug and background screening are required.
Compensation: Pay starting at $14.00 per hour
