What You’ll Be Doing:
- Keep a constant watch over swimmers and ensure everyone stays safe
- Enforce pool rules while creating a positive and welcoming environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool deck
- Check and record pool chemicals to keep water safe and balanced
- Respond quickly and confidently in emergency situations
- Help members with questions and create a great overall experience
- Work as part of a team and take direction from Head Lifeguards and Aquatics Leaders
- Open and close the pool area, making sure everything is ready for the day

What We’re Looking For:
- At least 15 years old
- Reliable, responsible, and ready to take ownership
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused
- Comfortable interacting with people and providing great customer service
- Able to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations

Requirements:
- Current YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
(CPR/AED/First Aid included) - Ability to swim 300 yards continuously
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
