The Washington Community Y is looking for an energetic, dependable and positive person to join our School Age Program team!
If you enjoy working with kids, being active, planning fun activities and having a job where every day is a little different, this could be a great fit for you.
What you'll do:
Help plan crafts, games and activities
Get kids moving and having fun
Be a positive role model for elementary-age kids
Help with special activities and field trips
Build relationships with kids and families
Help create a safe, welcoming and FUN place for kids to spend their day
No sitting at a desk all day here. You'll be interacting with kids, leading activities and helping create the kind of program they can't wait to come back to.
The schedule:
Summer (July–August): 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
School Year (September–May): 1:00–6:00 PM
This schedule can be a great fit for a college student, recent graduate, aspiring teacher, education or recreation major, or anyone who loves working with kids.
PLUS — $500 SIGN-ON BONUS!
$250 after 90 days
$250 after 180 days
Bonus paid after required trainings are completed.
