Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of senior or executive leadership experience
- Proven experience overseeing budget and grant management
- Strong leadership in programs, teams, and financial performance
- Ability to connect operations with long-term strategic impact
- Effective relationship builder across diverse stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Lead Strategically Provide strategic oversight of Youth & Family Services operations, ensuring programs, services, and business functions align with organizational priorities and achieve measurable outcomes. Lead the monthly reconciliation of YMCA contract invoices, accounts receivable, and related financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, timely billing, and effective revenue management.
- Build Strong Teams Develop and support department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth grounded in Y values. Lead the development, growth, and continuous improvement of youth-focused programming, including enrichment, teen initiatives, and family engagement services.
- Deliver Results Ensure programs are safe, high-quality, and outcome-driven, with a clear focus on community impact.
- Drive Performance Assist with funding sources, and key metrics, using data to improve performance and respond to evolving needs.
- Strengthen Relationships Cultivate partnerships with families, volunteers, community stakeholders, and other YMCA branch staff.
- Mission Advancement: Incorporates the Y's mission and values into the organization's vision and strategies. Ensures community engagement; promotes the global nature of the Y. Leads a culture of volunteerism, ensuring engagement, inclusion, and ownership.
- Collaboration: Initiates the development of relationships with influential leaders to impact and strengthen the community. Is recognized as an inspirational community leader who navigates complex political and social circles with ease. Communicates to engage and inspire people within and outside the YMCA. Ensures that a talent management system is in place and executed effectively.
