Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in related program or field.
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen.
- Current American Red Cross OR YMCA Lifeguard Instructor certification or equivalent and V6 Swim Lesson Instructor and Trainer must be obtained within 1 year
- Have the ability to obtain Pesticide Technician within 120 days
- Have the ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator
- Have the ability to obtain within 120 days Bathing Place Manager within 120 days
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Coordinates program activities to meet YMCA objectives.
- Expands programs within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.
- Assists with the implementation, development, and monitoring of all programs.
- Assists with management of program budget.
- Assists with the implementation of program marketing materials.
- Assists in recruiting volunteers.
- Assists in staff and participant development.
- Assists in facility(s) and offices clean, neat and organized.
- Promotes character development in all programs.
- Carries out special projects as assigned.
