GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for teaching the YMCA Swim Program to children and adults. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instructs swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines having prepared lesson plans accordingly.- Builds effective, authentic relationships with students and parents/guardians.
- Maintains records as required (attendance, progress reports, etc.)
- Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled.
- Be safety conscious at all times.
- Make swimming fun.
