What You'll Do
Help keep our pools safe by actively monitoring swimmers and responding when needed
Create a welcoming, positive experience for members and program participants
Teach engaging swim lessons using the YMCA of the USA swim curriculum (for Swim Instructors)
Participate in paid training, ongoing education, and team development opportunities

• A minimum age of 16 years

• Current certifications in:

  • Lifeguarding

  • CPR/AED

  • First Aid

  • Oxygen Administration

• OR a willingness to obtain certifications before starting (training opportunities may be available for the right candidate!)

• A calm, confident presence with strong attention to safety and detail

• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

• Seeking availability for both weekday and weekend shifts at both locations
