Locations & Programs:
Forest River Park – Camp Harbor Quest (Ages 5–13):
Experience the great outdoors! Campers enjoy sports, arts & crafts, swimming, kayaking, and more. Be part of a traditional day camp where summer memories are made daily.
Salem YMCA – Specialty Indoor Camps:

Tinkergarden & Little Tinkers (Ages 5–6): Hands-on, STEAM-based programs fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving.

LEGO, VIBE, Pottery, Theatre, Music & Media: Creative arts programs designed to inspire imagination, skill-building, and collaboration.
Your Role:
As a Camp Counselor, you will:

Lead engaging activities and adventures, indoors or outdoors.

Support campers’ growth, learning, and confidence.

Ensure a safe, fun, and positive environment.

Bring energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every camper’s day.

Qualifications:If you are looking to expand your resume and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, this may be the summer job opportunity for you!
- Camp Counselors must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Preferred work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 days) throughout the camp season, 8am-5pm
- Must have reliable transportation to ensure the ability to commute to and arrive at camp on time daily
- Mandatory Spring training will be required - save the date of May 16th, 2025
