About Us:
The YMCA of the North Shore is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Staff to join us for Summer 2026!
Camp Sterling Woods:
Set on 35 acres of beautiful woods with trails, a ropes course, zip line, pond, cabins, and a stage, Camp Sterling Woods has something for everyone! Counselors lead swimming, archery, music, drama, arts, sports, brain games, nature exploration, science experiments, and more—creating days full of fun, learning, and adventure.
Beverly YMCA Day Camps:
Counselors support STEM Camps, Sports Camps, Adventure Camps, and other specialty programs—all designed to inspire curiosity, teamwork, and confidence in campers.
Your Role:
As a Camp Counselor, you’ll:

Lead exciting games, activities, and outdoor adventures.

Help campers learn, grow, and make the most of their summer.

Ensure safety while keeping every activity fun and engaging.

Bring energy, positivity, and creativity to every camper interaction.

Qualifications:If you are looking to expand your resume and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, this may be the summer job opportunity for you!
- Camp Counselors must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Preferred work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 days) throughout the camp season, 8am-5pm
- Must have reliable transportation to ensure the ability to commute to and arrive at camp on time daily
- Mandatory Spring training will be required - save the date of May 16th, 2025
