What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Hope & Camp Inspiration Counselors (Appleton YMCA) position at YMCA OF THE FOX CITIES?
The Appleton YMCA is hiring summer camp counselors for Camp Hope & Camp Inspiration, a day camp for children ages 6-18 with differing abilities. Camp Hope and Camp Inspiration offer tons of excitement and the joys of camp life for children with special needs. This seasonal opportunity is perfect for those who love working with kids, teachers seeking a summer job, college students looking for experience, and anyone who has a passion for children and activities!
At Camp Hope (ages 6-12) and Camp Inspiration (ages 13-18), counselors will assist other staff members with planning and implementation of activities within a large group setting. Within this large group of campers, promote good personal relationships, teach planned activities, and constantly be alert to protect the health and safety of our campers.
This is a summer only position from July 6 to 31, 2026, 9:00am to 4:30pm at the Appleton Public Montessori School. This position can paired with our other seasonal positions.
