Location: Days Gone By - YMCA
Hours: Part-Time
- 2-3 full days per week
- Daytime hours 7:15/7:30am - 5:15/5:30pm (20-30 hrs/wk)
OR
- 3-5 half days per week
- AM or PM shifts available
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing educational activities for children age 0-5.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of children.
- Engage children in interactive and creative play to support their learning and growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress and daily activities.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children.
- Early childhood education classes are a plus.
- Willing to participate in furthering childcare education courses paid for by the YMCA.
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, team player, and professional
