POSITION SUMMARY:
The Aquatics Coordinator will assure the program quality and content of all programs running at camp.
Assist with the aquatics program to ensure quality of the program. Responsible for the planning,
development and implementation of the program.

SALARY RANGE: $25-$27 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assist with hiring and training aquatics staff; maintain employee schedules, certifications, and other
administrative work.
* Responsible for the implementation of Aquatics regulations, policies, employment practices for the
organization
* Oversee day-to-day aquatics operations ensuring they are high quality programs.
* Assist in maintaining a clean pool and surrounding areas.
* Communicate effectively with camp staff, program participants and guardians- daily greetings,
communicating camper behavior both positive and negative, injuries along with providing
documentation, confirming absences daily, and building overall rapport.
* Ability to respond to emergencies
* Other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in Aquatics or an Administrative role.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, participants, and families
3. Available on weekends and evenings as needed.
4. Currently certified in CPR/AED and first aid, or be certified within 30 days of hire.
5. Experience working in multi-cultural communities is preferred.
