The Site Leader will administer, organize, and implement School Age Child Care Programs. You will provide leadership and supervision of the After Care Staff and programming. - Supervises, implements, and directs childcare program and other program staff for specific site.
- Understands and maintains state licensing rules and regulations and YMCA childcare program standards
- Develops positive relationships with children and parents.
- Encourages member involvement and identifies potential volunteers.
- Controls, orders supply and maintains inventory.
- Ensures pertinent site records, files and other required administrative procedures are completed and maintained.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Experience working with children.
- Must enjoy working with children.
- Safe driving record. A current MVR will be required.
- Possess an appropriate class license.
- Knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to commercial passenger vehicles (bus).
- Current state approved CPR & First-Aid certification (or must obtain within first 30 days).
- Fingerprint clearance.
- Documentation of high school diploma or equivalency.
- Two years of college, preferred.
