The Donelson-Hermitage YMCA is Now Hiring for Summer Day Camp Counselors
Position Type: Seasonal (Monday - Friday schedule)
Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)

The Essentials:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience or coursework in childcare or recreation is a plus.
- Certifications: New Hire Orientation (before your first shift)
- CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire)
What We’re Looking For:
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a love for working with kids.
- Ability to spend up to nine hours outdoors, leading activities and ensuring campers’ well-being.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for keeping things fun and safe.

Northwest - Program Dates: May 26-July 31 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 4-July 31
Robertson - Program Dates: May 22-July 31 (6:30am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 15th-Aug 7
Sumner - Program Dates: May 21-August 7 (7am-6pm); Seasonal Hire Dates: May 13-Aug 7
*NOTE: This is a seasonal position running from mid-May through early August. The role requires consistent availability Monday–Friday. Shifts can be scheduled within the window of 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., but you will work no more than 8.5 hours per day, up to five days per week.*
