YMCA at Robertson County is Now Hiring for Lifeguard
Position Type: Part-time
Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)
ALL LOCATIONS — Now hiring for all shifts, except the following:
- Green Hills: Hiring for mid-day shifts
- Downtown: Hiring for early morning shift — 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Donelson-Hermitage: Hiring for early morning shift — 4:45 AM to 10:00 AM
Hey there water lovers! We’re looking for enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our Aquatics Team. If you’re ready to keep our pools safe, have fun while working, and make an impact, this could be the job for you!
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, risk-free environment for all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules (politely but firmly).
- Build relationships with members while ensuring they enjoy their time in the water.
- Maintain a clean and safe swimming area.
What You Need
- Minimum Age: 16
- No lifeguarding experience? No worries! We’ll provide all required training and certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
- Ability to swim at an intermediate level (check out our Prerequisite Skills Evaluation)
