Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Laurens, SC for a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. The technician will be responsible for performing venipuncture, handling and labeling laboratory specimens, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the proper use of medical terminology. In addition to technical tasks, the role involves providing excellent customer service to patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a laboratory or clinical setting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Venipuncture and Laboratory Skills
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Laboratory Medicine
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is preferred
