Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Swim Coach, located in Hagerstown, MD. The Assistant Swim Coach will be responsible for providing swim instruction, conducting swim lessons, and assisting with the overall management of the aquatics program. Day-to-day tasks include teaching swimming techniques, ensuring the safety of participants, and supporting swimmers' development and progression in the sport. The Assistant Swim Coach will promote a positive, encouraging environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Swim Instruction and Swim Lessons skills
- Experience and proficiency in Swimming
- Lifeguarding skills
- Knowledge and experience in Aquatics programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with youth and families
- Current lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid certifications preferred
- Passion for promoting health and wellness
