Job Title: Preschool Teacher Assistant (Part-Time), Bardmoor YMCA Preschool Academy

Duties:
- Work alongside Preschool Teachers to provide an enriching experience for children in the classroom.
- Help implement the curriculum in a way that promotes creativity and learning.
- Lead and facilitate interactive activities like games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling to foster children's physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development.
- Support positive behavior by setting clear and consistent rules.
- Supervise meal times, outdoor play, and free play, ensuring the children's safety and well-being.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of MODS (Introductory Child Care Training, Part 1 & 2) is required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is a plus.
- A team player who works well with others and is able to engage with children both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
- Available to work Monday through Friday.
- Pre-employment drug test and Level 2 background screening required.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
- Occasional lifting/moving of up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to focus on close vision, distance vision, and depth perception while interacting with children.
- Ability to actively engage in planning, leading, and participating in activities.
