Looking for a rewarding way to spend your mornings and afternoons? The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking team-oriented individuals to support our before and after-school programs across the Petersburg Region.
Position: School Age Child Care Program Assistant
Locations: Cool Springs Elementary, Lakemont Elementary, Pleasants Lane Elementary, St Joesph's School and Walnut Hill Elementary
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:45am-9:15am and/or 3:30pm-6:15pm
Your Role on the Team:
- Partner with program staff to keep activities running smoothly and on schedule
- Assist with group management, transitions, and daily routines
- Set up and clean up activity spaces, snacks, and materials
- Offer encouragement and support to children as they participate in games and projects
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants
