This part-time, on-site Membership Representative role is based in Brooklyn, NY. Key responsibilities include assisting prospective and current members with inquiries, managing membership registrations, processing payments, and providing exceptional customer service. The representative serves as an ambassador of the YMCA, promoting membership benefits, engaging potential members through tours, and ensuring positive member experiences. Additional duties may include supporting sales initiatives and maintaining accurate membership records.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with members and address inquiries professionally.
- Experience in Sales and Negotiation to promote membership benefits and assist potential members effectively.
- Capability to assist in Training and educating members about services, facilities, and policies.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities to manage membership records and handle payment processing.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and membership management systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service or membership-based organizations is preferred but not required.
