Position Summary

We are looking for a Full Time Preschool Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood development and committed to fostering a positive learning experience aligned with YMCA values.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and assess children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Maintain compliance with YMCA policies and state licensing requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
