YMCA International Services is a unique branch of the YMCA of Greater Houston and seeks to meet the needs of Houston’s significant refugee and immigrant communities. We provide comprehensive programs that focus on building human assets and fostering self-sufficiency. As a General Office Clerk, you will play an integral role in helping all clients become self-sufficient.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand program compliance guidelines and file organization
- Monitor accuracy of data entry and documentation for file maintenance
- Compare funder’s standard of documentation against files to ensure compliance
- Maintain file organization system of active and closed program files
- Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations
- Follow mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements
- Meet timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance. Example includes but is not limited to Kronos Workforce Ready to review and submit own time sheet.
- Participate in rotating food pantry schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Outcomes
- All eligible clients served in a professional and timely manner
- Ability to conduct up to 150 new intakes per week.
- Financial assistance is available to clients on specified due dates.
- Client files are current and provide a complete picture of the services provided.
