Responsibilities
The Central Branch YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive part-time Membership Enrollment Specialist to guide prospective members through the enrollment process, give tours, and foster relationships that connect them to the YMCA, fellow members and programs to fit their individual needs.
- Connect: Build effective, authentic relationships with members and help them meet other members and staff.
- Serve: Promote programs and events to our members and the community.
- Implement: Conduct interviews and tours with prospective members. Enroll and register new members in programs.
Requirements
Candidates must be committed to contributing to the mission, culture, and values of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne as well as:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. If currently enrolled in high school, a diploma will need to be provided upon completion.
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Excellent human relations skills and enthusiasm.
- Attentive to details, organized, able to handle money effectively, proficient at other clerical and computer skills.
- Ability to relate to, welcome and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Salary: Part-time $13.50-$14.00 hourly
Hours Available:
- Tuesday 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Wednesday 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Thursday 5:00pm-6:00pm
- Saturday 6:45am-10:00am
