A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRANSPORTATION SUPPORT STAFF - School Pickup & Drop-Off
As an Transportation Support Staff at childcare locations, You will be driving the 10 passenger van for before and/or after school. So no CDL required. You assist the child care program director in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all children involved. Always alert, you provide proper supervision for the children as you "see, hear, direct, and assess." You are careful to act as a role model for the children at all times!
With enthusiasm, you drive the van in a safe manner, obeying traffic signs, watching for pedestrians and keeping the children in your van safe.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR Transportation Support Staff
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a physical
- Negative TB test
- Drivers License
