We're hiring swim instructors to be part of the Blue Ash YMCA team!
Do you love to swim? Do you have a desire to help others accomplish their goals? If you have the ability to inspire confidence and explain basic swimming skills, we have the perfect job for you! Come join our awesome aquatics team as a swim instructor. You will provide leadership, instruction & motivation for students while building relationships with members. A strong ability to swim and excellent communication skills are a must. Having the magical balance between customer service and education is preferred.
Starting pay is $13/hour.

Responsibilities:
- Instruct swim lessons as assigned in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly.
- Develop positive relationships with participants while providing motivational support & guidance.
- Encourage member & parent involvement.
- Convey basic program & schedule information as necessary.
- Maintain progress reports & attendance records as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- CPR, First Aid & AED certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
- YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct participants on swimming skills & stroke techniques.
