Key Responsibilities:
- Transports children.
- Follows all YMCA driver regulations.
- Performs pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Oversees children during loading and unloading.
- Ensures vehicle is clean and reports conditions in need of attention or repair.
- Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergency procedures.
- Attends staff meetings and training programs.
- Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older.
- Current state approved first-aid certification.
- Current state approved community CPR certification.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least three years driving experience.
- Driving record that meets or exceeds YMCA standards.
