Key Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Teacher with planning and implementing lesson plans and activities

Help prepare classroom materials, centers, and learning environments

Support classroom routines including circle time, transitions, meals, and rest time

Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards

Actively supervise children at all times (classroom, playground, field trips, etc.)

Ensure children follow safety rules and program expectations

Assist with arrival, dismissal, and daily transitions

Monitor children for health, safety, and emotional needs

Encourage positive behavior using appropriate guidance techniques

Help children develop independence and social skills

Support individualized learning needs

Assist with toileting, handwashing, and self-care routines as needed

Communicate respectfully and professionally with families and staff

Share important information about children with the Lead Teacher
