What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Clinician- Per Diem position at YMCA OF GREATE MONMOUTH COUNTY?
Per Diem Clinicians wanted to support the ever growing needs in Monmouth, Middlesex, and Ocean County. Individual and family therapy are the core clinical offerings of this position. It also includes providing services at schools and licensed satellite locations, which will require acting as the agency liaison. Caseloads consist of children, adolescents and/or adults with behavioral and mental health issues. Consultation with referral sources and completing progress reports is necessary, as indicated.
Staff are needed in the Bayshore Area, Monmouth County, Ocean County, Southern Middlesex County, and Toms River
1. Carry a minimum caseload of 10 active clients.
2. Provides evaluative services, treatment planning, clinical treatment, referral services, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning, as well as monitors client progress related to psychotropic medication, for a mixed caseload of children, adolescents and/or adults.
3. Complies with necessary documentation for all administrative aspects of clinical counseling, and documentation will be completed within 24 hours of the service provided.
4. Conferences shared clinical cases with supervisor, cooperating counselor(s), and referral sources (as needed)
1. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work or other related Human Services concentration is required, accompanied by New Jersey licensure.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in individual, group and family therapy.
3. Expertise of a clinician trained and experienced in Play Therapy, Counseling and treatment and engagement strategies.
