What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Camp Custodian position at YMCA of Grays Harbor?
This part-time, seasonal position will clean and prepare camp facilities between rental groups- typically Fridays and Sundays, including cabins, dining hall, lodge, bathrooms, floors, windows, and outdoor spaces. Stock and maintain cleaning supplies and custodial equipment. Perform light outdoor and grounds tasks as needed, such as sweeping sand, clearing branches, basic trail upkeep, waterfront prep, and seasonal yard work. Assist with general camp preparation projects prior to the summer camp season. Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Anticipate potential safety risks and take appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Work collaboratively with camp staff to meet turnover timelines and event needs.
