We are looking for someone to lead our After School Program at Horicon Elementary School.
Hours: 2:55pm-5:45pm, Monday - Friday, during the school year
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dedication to the YMCA core values, good work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Must be 18 yrs of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
-2 classes of Child Development (80 hours) or equivalent
-240 hours of experience as a group leader, assistant teacher, public or private school teacher, student teacher, coach, camp counselor, mentor through a community based organization or in another approved setting.
-CPR and First Aid Training within 30 days of hire.
Principle Activities:
- Implement and supervise daily activities
- Supervise and guide child development in a safe and healthy environment
- Communicate with parents and other staff
- Document child development, files, attendance, etc.
This position reports to our School Age Child Care Director.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
