What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Child Care Coordinator position at YMCA of Dekalb County?
Under the guidance of the Director of Early Learning, the SACC Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the School Age Child Care (SACC) programming and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
---Uphold and promote all policies and procedures as established in the YMCA of DeKalb Co
Employee handbook.
---In collaboration with the Director, maintain an established SACC curriculum that includes
education, social emotional and physical components.
---Plan and facilitate summer programming for SACC children.
---Contribute to best practices and registered ministry guidelines.
---Promote positive interactions with children, parents and staff.
---Assist in annual reviews for SACC staff and their job performance and effectiveness.
---Responsible for hiring, onboarding and training of new SACC employees.
---Any duties deemed necessary by Director of Early Learning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
