Job Responsibilities
- Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow Teachers.
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
- Maintains proper records/department files.
- Trains, provides guidance to and directs preschool assistant teachers and volunteers as needed.
- Manages emergencies, unusual circumstances and behavior.
- Creates a supportive and uplifting work environment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Lead Teacher classification recognized by Wisconsin State Licensing requirements.
- Knowledge of general child growth and development, learning, and developmentally appropriate activities for children required.
- Requires ability to effectively interact with, lead, and motivate members who have a variety of abilities and needs.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
