Before and After School Assistant Teachers who have a passion for working with children and their families in a caring, educational setting that is rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit, charity organization. Possible opportunities available in elementary schools in East Canton, Louisville, and Minerva school districts.
Hours/Shift:
Monday through Friday 6-9am and/or 2-630PM (exact hours vary by school district)
Pay Rate: $12.30 /HR

Who Are We Looking For?
Individuals who will...
- Serve as a professional role model for children grades K-5 by leading through example, encouraging healthy and safe behaviors and creating a positive experience while ensuring safety and proper supervision of all.
- Participate in and lead activities with students that include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, sports, STEM, character education, and social and emotional skills.
- Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
- Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on teaching teamwork and social skills, and supporting children as they grow and learn.
- Partner and build relationships with parents, school employees, administration and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
- Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Completed high school or GED program
- Ability to pass a background check
