Duties include:

- Maintains safety and security of the pool and its patrons at all times
- Rules are explained and enforced in a courteous, professional, and firm manner.
- Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately.
- Maintain effective, positive relationships with members, participants and other staff.
- Performs chemical testing , as required.
- Participates in emergency drills and in service to the level in which staff have been trained.
