Assignment Dates: December 22 to January 2nd. 8:30am to 2:30pm

Primary Responsibilities

College degree, preferably with a major in recreation or related experience.
Physical Abilities
Must be able to work on feet; able to lift, carry, and move 50 pounds, that includes equipment and furniture.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility of safety of campers
- Participate in various activities with campers throughout the day
- Daily Set up and break down of camp’s activities
- Assist instructors and staff with all camp activities
- Chaperone campers to the restroom
- Serve and supervise lunch daily
- Work to ensure all the campers are and feel comfortable and safe
- Lead and organize various age appropriate games for children ages 6-12
- Coordinate with director and coordinator in ordering supplies as needed.
- Bring any safety considerations immediately to the coordinator’s attention.
- Maintain stringent supervision of children in Winter Camp program including supervision around all aquatic areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working with children, preferably in a day camp setting.
- Need to be Punctual, friendly, motivated, and alert
- Must be neat and well-groomed
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Must have the ability to be flexible and rise above stressful situations
- Must be over 18 years old
- Must be able to commit to camp dates
- Prefer at least 2 years of experience as a Camp Counselor
- Experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, camping, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, recreational games, etc.
- Preferred certifications: CPR, First Aid, AED
