Role Description
The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for young children. This full-time, on-site position is located in Barnstable County, MA. The teacher will ensure the physical, emotional, and educational well-being of children, maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues. Additional duties include observing and documenting child progress, maintaining a clean and organized learning space, and aligning with the mission of YMCA Cape Cod.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Early Childhood Education principles and practices
- Experience in Teaching and working with young children
- Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Child Development
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred, and a minimum of an EEC Teacher Certification is required
