OVERVIEW:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth Sports Volunteers. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in mentoring and guiding young athletes, fostering their passion for sports, and helping them develop valuable skills both on and off the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate practice sessions.
2. Teach fundamental sports skills and techniques.
3. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
4. Provide encouragement and support to all players.
5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
6. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches.
7. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
8. Uphold the values and mission of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Passion for working with youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
2. Knowledge of the sport and coaching principles.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
5. Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
6. Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred but not required.
7. Must pass the required background check.
