Summary
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and plan production based on labor capacity availability, developing production schedules and labor requirements while working with Extrusion leadership in order to produce goods in a timely manner by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Plan and schedule daily workflow for each press according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Analyzes production capacity in order to determine manpower requirements.
Confer with department manager or supervisor to determine status of daily schedules.
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepare reports and data for presentation at the daily Extrusion Manager Meeting and the production planning meeting.
Prepare daily schedules based on optimum capacity.
Plans production schedules around critical work centers in order to meet lead times based on order sequences.
Education/Experience
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Must have at least 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably in a production scheduling or planning role.
Preferred: Associates or Technical Degree.
No certifications or licenses required.
Travel Requirements
The travel required for this position is less than 5%.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while
performing the essential functions of this job. An individual may be required to wear appropriate safety protective
equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as outlined by safety program rules. The noise level
in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed

weather), fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions and vibration.
