Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and clinical workflows, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Experience using Medent EMR is strongly preferred. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care while supporting providers and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain manual vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
- Document patient information accurately in Medent EMR
- Review and update medication lists and patient records
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Coordinate patient flow to support an efficient, fast-paced clinical environment
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medications
- Experience with Medent EMR preferred
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred but not required
