Key Responsibilities:
- Handle import shipments, including ocean container movements.
- Process all customers orders. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents. Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.
- Inventory control and reconciliation.
- Daily customer communication via e-mail/telephone as necessary.
- Generate and maintain various reports and analysis as necessary.
- Primary point of contact for Customer Service.
- Ability to multi-task
Qualifications:
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or warehouse office environment preferred
- Microsoft office software application
- QuickBooks knowledge preferred
- Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
- Legal work status in the US
