As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain/Facility Manager to open and manage our new facility in the Dallas, Texas, area.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain/Facility Manager will lead and manage the end-to-end distribution and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient product availability, inventory management, logistics coordination, and distributor/channel performance across US and international markets. This position reports to the Vice-President of Operations.
The role oversees distribution operations focused in the United States with potential expansion of the role internationally, ensuring a 99% OTIF (On-Time In-Full) customer service level while continuously improving the end-to-end order-to-delivery experience.
The position is responsible for harmonizing supply chain practices across subsidiaries, optimizing logistics in terms of cost and delivery timelines, implementing regional warehouse strategies and ensuring product availability through effective demand planning and coordination with sales, commercial teams, central planning and manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
Distribution Strategy & Network Management
- Develop and implement distribution strategies aligned with the company’s sales and growth objectives.
- Build, manage, and strengthen distribution channels across markets.
- Drive initiatives to harmonize supply chain and distribution practices across locations.
- Evaluate distributor/channel performance and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Oversee end-to-end distribution operations, including warehousing, transportation and last-mile delivery.
- Coordinate closely with regulatory and sales teams to ensure timely dispatch and product availability.
- Monitor logistics partners and optimize freight, transportation costs, and delivery timelines.
Inventory & Demand Planning
- Lead demand forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with sales and commercial teams in each country.
- Work closely with the central demand planning tower to align demand forecasts with supply plans.
- Ensure product availability at subsidiaries and regional warehouses through effective replenishment planning.
- Implement systems for stock monitoring, replenishment planning, and minimizing stock-outs or overstocking.
Distributor Relationship Management
- Establish strong working relationships with distributors, and institutional partners across markets.
- Support partners and distributor training, onboarding, and operational alignment with company processes.
- Resolve grievances and operational issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science / Engineering / Supply Chain Management. MBA in Operations / Supply Chain is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management in packaging or related industry.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles managing multi-country distribution and supply chain operations.
- Other Language Requirement: Fluent in Mandarin Chinese required, general understanding of Spanish preferred.
- Experience managing international distribution networks and supply chain operations across multiple subsidiaries.
- Strong exposure to logistics optimization, demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/similar supply chain systems).
