Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for maintaining and improving mobile homes? We’re seeking a dynamic Mobile Home Maintenance Person to join our team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and upgrades on mobile homes to ensure they are safe, functional, and comfortable for residents. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help keep our mobile communities in top shape, providing residents with a reliable and enjoyable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on mobile homes, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance issues.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections of mobile homes to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Install or upgrade fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, and other structural components as needed.
• Collaborate with residents to understand repair needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted for accountability and future reference.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
• Assist in seasonal preparations such as weatherproofing or winterizing homes when necessary.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance person work, maintenance, or repair services within residential or mobile home settings.
• Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Ability to diagnose issues quickly using technical tools and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and team members.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects efficiently.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred. Job Type: Contract

Base Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
