What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Production Associate position at YETKIN TRADING INC?
Looking for a Full-Time associate to assist with print production in the graphics department. The candidate should be a self-motivated, creative team player with a sense of urgency and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of documents using specialized equipment.
- Provide output to customers.
- Follow certain procedures.
- Work in a specified location.
- Work under a supervisor or manager.
- Communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assist in the production of graphic orders such as business cards, flyers/postcards, booklets, decals, signs, banners, vehicle graphics, and window graphics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess basic math skills.
- Must have Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) skills and experience.
- Must be able to use a straight edge and blade for steady, accurate cutting by hand.
- Must possess basic computer skills and be proficient in Windows System, MS Office (Word, Excel); MS Exchange; Adobe Acrobat (e.g. reader and writer).
- Must possess strong verbal communication skills
- Must have customer service experience, and enjoy speaking with and assisting customers and prospects, as well as be able to effectively communicate our service offerings.
- Must have high energy with the ability to work independently or with a team.
- Must have the aptitude to learn new equipment and software in a timely manner
- Must be able to stand, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead for a reasonable amount of time to perform assigned job duties on time and on budget.
- Must be physically able to use both arms and hands for handling substrate and using back and forth motions during installation and for the duration of the installation.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Must be capable of presenting a clean-cut, professional image.
- Must have a valid and clean Texas driver’s license.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Skills/Work Experience -a PLUS
- 1 years of experience working in a print shop/large format printing – a plus.
- Photoshop experience or working knowledge – a plus.
- Knowledge, ability, and experience measuring custom graphics; understanding of related substrates and materials – a plus.
- Familiarity with/working knowledge of Fiery, Onyx, or Graphtec Cutting Master – a plus.
- Experience operating HP Latex, Canon Digital Press, and Graphtec cutter – a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish – a plus.
