Position Summary:


YUHSB is seeking a creative Rebbe who can think outside the box, a Rebbe who has excellent social intelligence and communication skills, who can work well with others, and who is responsible and organized.

Candidates should be able to relate to students, young adults, and parents.


Position Responsibilities:



Teaching:

• This position is an integrated member of our faculty, serving in a Judaic Studies teaching capacity as a rebbe.
• This position will include teaching a Shiur, another Judaic Studies class, and serving as Assistant Grade Dean
• Performing other functions that may be assigned.

Experience & Education Background:

• Undergraduate advanced Rabbinical ordination
• Ability to read, speak, and teach in Hebrew
• Knowledge of Talmudic and Biblical texts

Skills & Competencies:

• Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations and groups
• Develops effective relationships with peers, students, and employees
• Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion
• Identifies, defines, and analyzes information and situations before recommending a course of action
• Effectively manages own time and resources
• Seeks to apply technology and innovation to improve efficiency and solve problems
