Position Summary:
The English Department of Stern College for Women at Yeshiva University is seeking to employ an Instructor (initial appointment three years, commencing Fall 2023, possible renewal) with specialization in Composition and Rhetoric and a secondary specialization in American, British, Global Literatures, or Digital Humanities. Ph.D. or A.B.D. in English Literature preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
Teaching load is 3/3, with 4 or 5 classes in Composition (capped at 15) and 1 or 2 classes in English Lit, American Lit, Global Lit, or Digital Humanities.
Experience & Educational Background:
Ph.D. or A.B.D. in English Literature preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Experience in teaching both Composition and Literature to college/university students
