5th Grade Teacher - Secular Studies

Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) is seeking a 5th grade secular studies teacher to for a part time position in the boys division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in elementary education, with proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas. Responsibilities: As a 5th grade secular studies teacher you will teach a class of about 20-22 boys in a dual language environment.  In addition to teaching all core secular subjects, your responsibilities will include: - Fostering a positive and structured classroom environment - Utilizing strong classroom management skills to support student growth - Implementing school-provided curriculum - Maintaining high academic expectations - Responding thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership - Consistent and professional communication with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges Successful candidates will: - Be collaborative team players - Be committed to professional growth - Be aligned with the mission and values of YES - Recognize the vital partnership between school and home in supporting each student’s success Details: Location: North Miami Beach, Florida Salary: Commensurate with experience About Us: Founded in 1987, Yeshiva Elementary is a warm & vibrant school dedicated to understanding & nurturing the potential of each child.
